Investor in People Award |
We were re-assessed in November 2008 for the Investor in People award. The following is an extract from the report: "The standard is met well. This is clearly a very good school that has worked incredibly hard and successfully in recent years to achieve a rating of outstanding by Ofsted. There is a direct thread between strategic planning, the action process and effective review & evaluation. It follows there is a very close alignment between what the school aspires to achieve and the skills and motivation of people to succeed. Well done."

Ofsted Report 2008 |
The latest Ofsted Report is out now. "… pupils’ achievement is outstanding in reading, writing and mathematics. Pupils make excellent progress from below what is normally expected when they start school to well above average standards at the end of Years 2 and 3. It is not surprising that pupils are happy and enthusiastic and that attendance is good."

Privacy Notice for pupils with effect from September 2010 School Census Privacy Notice 2010 |
The suggested Privacy Notice covers the legal responsibilities of the school, as data controller under the Data Protection Act 1998 (DPA), and of the Local Authority, under the Children Act 2004, to provide information to ContactPoint. Schools, LAs, the DCSF and other educational bodies that process personal data about pupils are required by the DPA to issue a Privacy Notice to parents to inform them and their child/children of the purposes for which that personal data may be held and used. This includes Non-Maintained Special Schools (NMSSs), City Technology Colleges (CTCs) and Academies. This Privacy Notice sets out, in general terms, what the school, the DCSF and other bodies do with the data collected about pupils and saves these organisations sending separate notices. |
